Tribute to Uncle Paul

Created by Emmanuel 3 years ago
I must have been in primary three when i started going to Uncle Paula house at Benin for long vacation holidays. Uncle made those vacations fun he would register us at summer school. we visited one place of interest after another i remember uncle paul's house was a mecca of sort. yes uncle was a hunter, a farmer and a storyteller. he was a jovial man and very social.

our holidays experiences was not compute until he took us to Ashaka. at Ashaka our base was Omeifeakus house there we met our cousin's uncles and had a blend of rural life and the fun that went with it.

Uncle paul was a bridge builder, a custodian of both Aboh and Obetim culture. A Catholic and charismatic member. He loved God. He was a man of many first , president of Aboh union, first principal of medical lab school, first man to explore greener pastures in medical lab science in the middle east. He was first Ugodinobi  to Asama Akwe. He was God's gift to us, a mentor, a custodian, a teacher, a disciplinarian, a titan and last of the mohicans.

Adieu great uncle, like a father who i share semblems with.

Ogu Emmanuel.
